Grand National Gun Club

Mission Statement:

The Grand National Gun Club, Inc., in conjunction with the Grand National Quail Club Inc and Grand National Quail Foundation Inc, is dedicated to involving the youth of Garfield County in the sport of shooting, gun safety, hunting safety, and to offer the citizens of Enid, Garfield County and Northwest Oklahoma a quality shooting range facility for sport shooting.

The GNGC was started on March 1, 1997 when it purchased the Enid Elks Gun Club. The GNGC has been involved with the training of Garfield County 4-H shooters and sponsor both spring and Fall 4-H regional shoots. Participation at these events has been exceptional with approximately 150 youth shooters at each event. They have been involved with the NRA in the annual sponsorship of the YHEC shoot and the NRA "Women on Target" event. The GNGC has five registered ATA trapshoots each year as well as sponsor league shooting (trap, skeet, and 5-stand). The GNGC provides ongoing education by hosting Hunter Safety Courses with the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife supplying the instructors.

The Gun Club is open to the public Wednesdays, April through October. The GNGC offers its facilities to groups for special shoots or functions at the GNGC clubhouse.
